How to Transfer a Domain to Another Provider

Transferring a domain from one provider to another is a common task, especially if you’re moving to a better hosting service.

Before starting, make sure:

• Your domain is at least 60 days old
• It is unlocked
• You have access to the EPP/Auth code

Here’s how the process works:

1. Unlock your domain at your current registrar
2. Request the EPP/Auth code
3. Start the transfer at your new provider
4. Enter the EPP code when prompted
5. Approve the transfer via email

The transfer process usually takes 5–7 days to complete.

Once done, your domain will be managed by the new provider, but your website and email will continue working if DNS settings remain unchanged.
